30 Degree Temperature Barrier

Success Story: Read Here

FoilBuild and FoilTech materials have excellent insulation properties and exhibit respectable R-values. Their affect of blocking radiant heat combined with the insulating properties of the air bubble layer creates a prime temperature barrier.

One should note that ALL R-Values are determined with very specific parameters during a controlled test. Therefore, if there is indeed a claimed R-value, one must match such parameters in the installation to match the desired rating.

FoilBuild RValues

Crawl Space: RValue Est. 16.8

Walls- Post Frame: RValue Est. 19.56

Walls with masonry, RValue Est. 3.7 or better

Concrete Slabs: RValue Est. 1.1

Pipe Wrap: RValue Est. 4

Duct Insulation: RValue Est. 6

Garage Door: RValue Est. 4

Water Heater: RValue Est. 4

Wine Room: RValue Est. 3.7

FoilTech Packaging Grade Performance:

FoilTech can perform as well or better than Styrofoam insulation. It is an excellent replacement product for Styrofoam inserts.

FoilTech Box liner averaged 10 degrees cooler than Styrofoam inserts.
